MISSION HILLS, Calif. – Sometimes gay adult entertainment is just porn, and sometimes it’s art.

That’s Boulevard Distribution Chief Executive Officer Andy Goode‘s take, anyway. Goode describes ZyloCo Inc. as “the mother of all daddy genre production houses” and the studio’s newest title, Bareback Muscle Pig, as “museum-quality art.”

The flick stars Cameron Cruise and Anthony DeAngelo, who also directs. Together the pair compose real-life business partners, friends, lovers and gay adult industry raconteurs Tony & Cam. Like all other ZyloCo, creations, Bareback Muscle Pig records the couple’s real-life adventures.

“Publicly Tony DeAngelo jokingly refers to his work as ‘just porn,’” Goode said. “Privately, he demands perfection before he stamps the ZyloCo seal on his work. These are filmed plays so reminiscent of [the late French poet, essayist, playwright, actor and director] Antonin Artaud’s vision of theatre that I have entertained the notion of a reincarnated Artaud in the world of porn.

“ZyloCo is Tony’s vision,” Goode continued. “Cameron Cruise has developed into the consummate practitioner. He is a skilled actor, director and sexual performer. He is natural and yet supremely focused at all times.”

Bareback Muscle Pig begins where the previous ZyloCo release, Bareback Muscle Daddy, left off. The sex is raw, primal and impromptu, employing DeAngelo and Cruise as the only two professionals. Cruise makes his topping debut on film.

“Personally, I believe their work belongs in a museum; each film is a unique collectors item,” Goode said. “This is one pig-induced fever that’s a good thing.”

The film was released to wholesalers and retailers on Friday.
