NEW YORK – Distribution of the DVD version of European gay adult studio BelAmi’s latest title, Sex Buddies 1, was delayed in the U.S. and the U.K. due to a controversial scene involving exclusives — and real-life twin brothers — Milo and Elijah Peters.

According to BelAmi’s publicist, “Apparently the scene pushes the boundaries so far that in order to have it pass the [British Board of Film Classification] censors in the U.K. and be distributed in the U.S. [the studio was] forced to re-edit. BelAmi’s amorous twins shared a scene together in Sex Buddies 1, and … well, they just couldn’t keep their hands off of each other.

“It may seem like in today’s market you can get away with anything, but one thing is certain: You can’t get away with two hot twins kissing and playing around with each other,” the publicist added.

The uninhibited twins said they were only doing what comes naturally.

“If we do it at home anyway, what’s wrong with doing it on film?” Milo Peters asked.

Although the “cleaned-up” version is available in both markets now, the only place to see the movie as it originally appeared is online at BelAmiOnline.com (definitely NSFW). The uncut DVD version is available on the Web, as well, at BuyBelAmi.com (also NSFW).

BelAmi intends to shoot more content featuring the Peters twins this year, and the studio’s publicist said censorship is the furthest thing from producers’ minds.

When new scenes begin appearing on the website this summer, “let’s just say it: There will be nothing left to the imagination,” the publicist said.
