Double Czech 2009LOS ANGELES – Double Czech 2009, the controversial sequel to director and Catalina Video founder William Higgins’ equally controversial 2000 flick Double Czech, has been released by Channel 1 Releasing.

Double Czech 2009 is a five-scene exploration of sexuality for identical twins Adam and Konrad Richter. Scene by scene the brothers find and enjoy new experiences with friends like Bjorn Gedda, Matthus Reinhardt, Viktor Kana and Nikolas Rezac, until finally they explore their wildest fantasy: each other.

That’s the controversial part.

Higgins said broaching the taboo topic of incest between twins was not a decision he made lightly.

“I thought about making a censored version that didn’t include the twins engaging in any action, but I could see in their eyes [that] it would have been impossible to cut a censored version as the two stars were so hot for each other,” he said. “You know, years of pent up desires. I can only imagine.”

Higgins also said he expects the sequel, filmed entirely on location in the Czech Republic, to be as popular as the original.

“The first installment went so well and was such a good collaboration between Rick Ford, All Worlds Video and myself that I thought it was very important to keep the franchise under the same roof,” he said. “After all, brothers shouldn’t be separated.”

Double Czech 2009 is available via mail order, from C1R.com and at Chi Chi LaRue’s boutique in West Hollywood, Calif. For a limited time, consumers who purchase Double Czech 2009 directly from Channel 1 Releasing will receive the original Double Czech for free.
