TORONTO – Sureflix Digital Distribution and longtime collaborator Argo Studio have added more Japanese translations and other upgrades to Maleflixxx.jp, an adult video-on-demand website serving the Japanese market.

“It has only been within the past two years that demand for VOD has started to increase in Japan,” Argo Studio spokeswoman Naoko Furuki said. “With DVD sales in a downturn and consumers not wanting to go out of their way to purchase adult entertainment, Internet distribution has become a topic of conversation within Asian markets.”

According to Sureflix President and Chief Executive Officer Eric Johnson, Maleflixxx will continue to work closely with Argo to create a fully integrated marketing campaign around Maleflixxx.jp. By working with professional translators and a company that understands Japanese cultural nuances, the team hopes to ensure a seamless experience that reflects current local trends for users.

The two companies have worked shoulder to shoulder since the site was introduced in the fall of 2007.
