SHERMAN OAKS—I’m back. I’ve been gone for a long time, but not really gone. Just so busy over at AVN, pathologically focused on keeping my job during a time of slow and irreversible decline. As I resurrect Daily Babylon, which has been on my mind every day even when I could not attend to it, I am sure that the gaps between late 2009 and early 2011 will fill in. I’ve been writing like a mother in about as hostile an environment for good and sustained work as one can imagine. But at least I’ve been writing!
