Oscar winner Dustin Lance BlackNEW YORK – Dustin Lance Black, who received the 2009 Best Original Screenplay Oscar for Milk, will be among the special guests at Will Clark’s Porno Bingo June 24.

“We have the biggest night ever at Bingo [next week] with a quartet of stars that will knock your socks off,” founder Will Clark said as he announced the lineup, fairly glowing.

In addition to Black, singer Bianca Leigh, adult performer Nick Capra and longtime GLBT community activist Cleve Jones are expected to join the fun. Clark said the managing director of Heritage of Pride has confirmed appearances by both Jones and Black.

Heritage of Pride, on whose behalf Black and Jones will appear, is a volunteer-managed, non-partisan, not-for-profit corporation that organizes lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered events in New York City to commemorate and celebrate the Stonewall riots. In the spirit of Stonewall, Heritage of Pride welcomes the participation of all, regardless of age; creed; gender; gender identification; HIV status; national origin; physical, mental or developmental ability; race; religion or sexual origin.

The Stonewall riots were a series of spontaneous, violent demonstrations sparked by a June 28, 1969, police raid on the Stonewall Inn in Greenwich Village. The riots generally are considered to be the first instance of GLBT pushback against official homosexual persecution. The event defined the beginning of the gay rights movement in the U.S.

Also on tap for June 24’s Porno Bingo (NSFW) are giveaways including DVDs from Lucas Entertainment, two VIP tickets to the Love Ball (NSFW) at the Nokia Theatre, eight tickets to Dance 208’s special Pride party at the GLBT Center, and two tickets to The Tin Pan Alley Rag, courtesy of Roundabout Theatre Company.

Porno Bingo takes place from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. each Wednesday at Pieces Bar. Now in its fifth year, Will Clark’s Porno Bingo has raised nearly $90,000 for New York GLBT charities.
